All my life I have been a creator I have cycled though everything from painting to sewing to different arts and crafts and found my passion in Interior Design I love having the ability to take problems and find creative and innovative solutions to them that bring joy to all that see my designs

My strongest attribute is my researching ability in which I can create designs in which every element ties into either past precedents, my clients logos/ branding, or my client’s needs and wants I love being able to use design theories to create the most effective and thoughtful designs possible I am a very passionate storyteller and so every part of my designs tells a story about each client’s unique identity, and I make sure even the smallest details fit the overall narrative

SensorySpaces

This project was one of my first that I used Revit for and one of my personal favorites. In this project we were required to design for someone with a mental or physical disability, and I decided to design for someone who has SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder). This is a condition that I had and so this project was very personal for me This project required a lot of research, which is one of my favorite parts of the design process, and so I learned about Comfort Theory and Sensory Design This design accommodates all 5 senses and creates a sensory neutral/ sensory positive space and can be used for people with Autism, ADHD, and SPD I learned a lot about research and how to use Revit through this project and how to connect research and implement it in my design

Yolgai

This project was definitely a learning lesson for me This was the first project I have had that was very multi-faceted and required many different things to be happening in the same small space. Though I had used shipping containers previously, this project presented a real challenge because it was both a residential and commercial space. Finding the balance between the two was difficult was difficult and making sure the space was safe was very important to me and was not something I usually have had to consider in my designs. The main requirements for this project were that it incorporated Navajo culture, was sustainable, was health focused, and had a good live/work environment I learned a lot about making things very detail oriented and finding creative space solutions such as using outdoor space for dining and living areas This was also my first-time researching area codes and selecting a site that matched all the requirements needed for my space This project also was completed during a short 3 week time period, and so it was definitely a test of my time management skills

LEGOStore

This project is personally one of my favorites if not my favorite project I have done I really got to dive deep into material specification and creating a sustainable commercial environment that was very durable while being very detail oriented. I got to learn about the concept or “retailnment” which mixes retail with entertainment design which I learned I enjoyed greatly. This project gave me the opportunity to use bright, fun colors and make a space where storytelling and branding was very prevalent. It was fun being able to research a company heavily and use their morals, values, and company culture to create an effective yet fun space This project was also one of my first times creating an elaborate and fun ceiling and floorplan with wayfinding techniques, which I now incorporate into many of my designs

WhistleBritches

was super eager to work on this project because it was hospitality design which is what I want to do. This project was really fun to work on because it was our first team project. I learned a lot about teamwork and working to each other’s strengths on this project. I got to work on the research/ concept development as well as the material and furniture specification, because those are things that I really enjoy doing/ am very good at. This project made me really interested in the psychology behind why people enjoy/don’t like spaces and why they choose to sit in the places they do. I also learned a lot about circulation and helped work on the floor plan to account for the flow of traffic and accessibility

UMArmy

UM Army is a non profit organization that helps provide wheelchair ramps for those in need. The goal for this project was to design an office/training space for a non profit organization. This project helped me grow because it was my first in depth set of construction documents I had ever created I learned a lot about construction standards, sections, codes and details This project really helped me enhance my technical and REVIT interior design skills

BlackandVeatch

.This was a project that I was very excited to do because it was one of my first commercial projects, which I knew was what I wanted to go into. In this design I really focused on making it an accessible space and was one of the first times that we really focused on learning codes and applying it to our designs This was also one of our first high square footage projects, and so it made me have to be very wise with my time This was also our first project interviewing someone we were designing for and so it was a great experience to actually hear what the client wanted and create a space that best fit them This project really brought out my love for designing ceilings as well as increased my love for material and product specification I love being detail oriented and making sure every piece of my design ties back into my concept statement and this project was a really good example of that This project also helped me further my Revit skills into being more proficient.

DisneyImagineering

This was a project that is very near and dear to my heart I have long admired the Disney company for their fearless creativity and continuous innovation, as well as their excellent branding and theming skills My ultimate career goal is actually to work for them as an imagineer This project was ro design an office suite for the Walt Disney Imagineering department I did a lot of research on the company as well as their individual departments to figure out how they function. After that investigation, I found that they focus a lot on inspiring their employees and embracing their employee's differences. Due to this knowledge, I designed a space that is heavily branded and themed as well as having different work spaces for all kinds of work styles. This project encouraged my love of research as well as diving deep into designing for different types of people and people centered design I also learned more about the technical skill of creating perspectives in REVIT
