The greenway follows the Oxon Run stream, which was naturalized in areas where it was once channelized. Along the Oxon Run Greenway, areas were considered for further design consideration. I chose Oxon Hill Farm, which was redeveloped to create a greater connection to the greenway and its surroundings, including the City of Forest Heights.
Tucked between interstates 295 and 495, Oxon Hill Farm is a commodity for the area that is under utilized by the surrounding population. By enhancing the existing farm, adding a farmers market, more pedestrian trails, and a park, the farm will attract more users.
