GOETHE-INSTITUT RIO DE JANEIRO The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institute, active worldwide. It promotes the study of German abroad and encourages international cultural exchange across the globe. GERMAN OLYMPIC SPORTS CONFEDERATION (DOSB) The German Olympic Sports Confederation is the non-governmental umbrella organization of German sport. The DOSB stands for performance, health, joy of living and the conveyance of values. Embracing sport for all and high level sport, the DOSB contributes to international understanding and development. GERMAN FEDERAL MINISTRY FOR ECONOMIC COOPERATION AND DEVELOPMENT (BMZ) The German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development develops the guidelines and the fundamental concepts on which German development policy is based. It devises long-term strategies for cooperation with the various players concerned and defines the rules for implementing that cooperation. These are the foundations for developing shared projects with partner countries and international development organizations.
