WELCOME FROM RODEO DIRECTOR MARCUS HOOD O n behalf of myself, the WGRF committee and the International Gay Rodeo Association, I would like to personally welcome you to the World Gay Rodeo Finals in Mesquite, Texas. I hope that while you are here in the great state of Texas, you have the chance to experience what Texas has to offer.

As the rodeo director of this year’s finals, let me be the very first to thank each and every one of you for traveling from far and wide to attend this year’s rodeo. We are so thrilled to have you all here to join us for finals!

To this year’s finals committee, thank you for trusting me and for working tirelessly to put on a fun and eventful World Gay Rodeo Finals. Your hard work and dedication have truly showed and will continue. Mac, Charles, Robin, Wade, Chris, RJ, Tommy, Mipsy, Laura, Mary, Buck and David, I truly appreciate each and every one of you for what you’ve brought to the table.

A big thank you to all the officials, contestants and volunteers for taking time out of your busy schedules to travel here and be a big part of this great weekend of rodeo and fun. I would also like to give an ENORMOUS thank you to all of our sponsors for your support and continued dedication. Congratulations to you all and I hope all of you have a successful year.

To all the spectators, thank you for coming to this year’s World Gay Rodeo Finals. It is the finale of a whole year of traveling and competition in thirteen events for all of these contestants. I hope you enjoy this weekend and make some memories.
