Dr. Harris will discuss the elements that lead to burnout in dealing with T1D in youth. He will present a framework for identifying how people get to the point of burnout, how to identify when people are burned out, and strategies for both avoiding and dealing more effectively with burnout. Key nutrition interventions for children with type 1 diabetes and maintaining a healthy relationship with food during transition into adulthood.
