WHAT’S IN STORE?
Hobson’s Choice, the Bath-based luxury kitchen and bathroom designers and fitters, have recently completed a major kitchen renovation locally. Charlotte Wright, who was the design consultant for the work, explains, “My brief was to maximise storage, while achieving a great kitchen to work and live in, with the emphasis on the feeling of space; light, and openness. “There is a soil pipe that runs down in the corner of the room and had previously been on full display when you enter the room. Using Bulthaup’s shallow depth, tall cabinet with their range of individual internal drawers and pull-outs, we were able to create a fantastic dry larder, which is ideally positioned for the main cooking area.” For more: www.hobsonschoice.uk.com Part of the brief was to create a sense of space, light, and openness
