Media City Film is the only organization in the world to regularly present artists' film on both sides of an international border.
Now in its 22nd year, Media City Film Festival attracts filmmakers, artists and audience members from across North America and around the world to participate in an internationally unique, week-long celebration of film screenings, exhibitions, workshops, lectures, performances, and other special events.
Since 1994, Media City has received more than 35,000 entries from over 112 nations worldwide. Films premiered at Media City have gone on to have subsequent screenings at the Venice, Cannes, New York, Sundance and Toronto film festivals, the Museum of Modern Art, Tate Modern, Whitney Museum of American Art, Harvard Film Archive among many others.
