Morgan, as well as Michael Zelig, MD, and Megan Windom, APRN-C, are certified to perform in-office procedures for the definitive treatment of troublesome hemorrhoidal disease, also known as hemorrhoid banding. The most frequent reason patients tend to present with rectal bleeding is due to hemorrhoids, and now with a 99.1% efficiency rate, Morgan is qualified to perform a virtually painless, non-surgical rubber band ligation technique that eliminates hemorrhoids. This outpatient procedure does not require any anesthesia or bowel preparation, leaving patients without any associated discomfort and fast recovery time. Using the CRH O’Regan System, typical treatment plans consist of three bandings every two weeks, where each treatment takes less than one minute. Most patients can return to normal activity within the same day as the procedure, resulting in excellent patient satisfaction.

Morgan is a nationally certified nurse practitioner (APRN-C) through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Board and the State of Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Harding University, located in Searcy, AR, and then obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of West Florida, in Pensacola, FL. Morgan joined the Gastroenterology Center in 2024. She sees patients under the direct supervision of board-certified gastroenterologist Michael Zelig, MD.
