he marriage of Bentley Wysor Gearhart and Paul Dorn, Jr. took place October 19, 2013 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Roanoke, Va. The Rev. Erin Hensley officiated. Bentley is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Gearhart, Jr. of Roanoke, Va. and Paul is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dorn Sr. of Mechanicsville, Va. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Suzanne West Clark of Richmond, cousin of the bride, served as Matron of Honor and Rebekah Greenberg of Brooklyn, NY as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids

were Allison Colman of Arlington, Nicole Gage of Alexandria, Sarah Hedrick of Alexandria, Katherine Houck of Washington, DC, Sarah Walter of Chapel Hill, NC and Sarah Woodburn of McLean. Paul Dorn Sr. served as Best Man. Groomsmen were William Gage of Alexandria, Chandler Gearhart of Roanoke, Baker Nicholaou of Vancouver, British Columbia, Chris Muth of Boston, Kyle Webb of Wauwatosa, Wis, and Phillips Williams, IV of Arlinton. After honeymooning in Antigua, the couple resides in Falls Church, Virginia.

uzanne Elizabeth Strickland and Jarrett Lee Shaw were united in marriage on August 31, 2013 in the beautiful garden at Linden Row, Richmond. Russell A. Shaw of Leesburg, Virginia, brother of the groom, officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clément Denicourt of Glen Allen and Mr. and Mrs. Barry Strickland of Richmond. She is employed at Media General. The groom is the son of Steve and Carolyn Shaw of Mechanicsville. He is employed at McKesson. The bride was escorted by her father and stepfather. The

maids of honor were Clemence Lecomte of Richmond and Blair McAloon of Pasadena, Maryland. Jessie Strong of Charlottesville and Holly Christian of Richmond were bridesmaids. Emma Kate Irwin of Richmond was flower girl. Mr. Stephen Shaw of Fredericksburg, brother of the groom, was best man. Jacob Leach of Raleigh, North Carolina, Benjamin Kusterer and Daniel Irwin both of Richmond, all friends of the groom, were groomsmen. Jarrett and Suzanne spent their honeymoon at Sandals Resort. They reside in Henrico County.
