Fundraiser to be held for boy with very rare tumors Contributed Report news@mechlocal.com A Kickoff Party Luncheon Fundraiser for Cameron Arnette, who has three very rare tumors, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, at Virginia Cliffe Inn at 2900 Mountain Rd. in Glen Allen. The 7-year-old is a student at Pole Green Elementary School in Mechanicsville. The price is $20 per person and payment can be made upon arrival. The fee covers the cost of an all-you-can-eat lunch catered by IK Catering, with the rest being a donation to the Children’s Tumor Foundation. Those attending are welcome to donate more if they wish. Children ages 3 and under will

be admitted free of charge. Funds raised will go to the Children’s Tumor Foundation for medical research. Saturday’s kickoff also will serve as an introduction to the NF Walk in October. Attendees are welcome to bring blankets for a picnic, as well as lawn chairs. In addition to IK Catering, businesses participating will be: DJ services by Howard Harper and Fantasia Sound; photography by Carrington & Finch Photography; Sherri the clown, with games, face-painting and balloons; makeovers, $20 for full, $10 for touch-up and $5 for those under 13 years of age (portions of the makeovers will go to Cameron); Red Robin will be on hand to take photos with
