Karen Conway-Hammond and Wade Hammond of Mechanicsville, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Loren Conway, to Justin Sterling Garrett, son of Sandra Garrett-Pribble and Art Pribble of Glen Allen, and Robert Garrett of Richmond. The bride-to-be graduated from Atlee High School
and earned her bachelor’s degree from Christopher Newport University in 2005. She is employed by Landmark Property Services, Inc. The groom-to-be graduated from Hermitage High School and is employed by Penske Logistics. A September 2010 wedding on the beaches of the Outer Banks is planned.

announces birth of son, Sutton James Kristin and Tom Ekman, along with big brother Jeff Wade William Ekman, are so very proud to announce the birth of Sutton James Ekman. Sutton was born Sept. 16, 2009 at Henrico Doctor’s Hospital. He weighed 8.7 lbs. and was 20 inches long. Proud grandparents are Madelyn and Wade Netherland of Mechanicsville and Col. (ret) Michael and Anne Ekman of Waynesboro. Great grandmother is Thelma “Sissie” Netherland of Mechanicsville. Tom and Kristin would like to thank their family and friends for all of their love, support, and delicious meals. Special thanks to Dr. Boyden Clary for being extraordinary.

Bailey-Kinner announce wedding plans for October Mr. and Mrs. David Bailey and Mr. and Mrs. Randy Wingfield are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Erika Leigh Bailey to Mr. Shane Andy Kinner. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Overman of Marion, Ind. And Mr. and Mrs. Andy Kinner of Melbourne, Fla. Erika is a 2003 graduate of Atlee High School and received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the VCU School of Pharmacy. She is currently employed by Walmart Pharmacy in St. Petersburg, Fla. Shane is a 1998 graduate of Oakhill High School in Converse, Ind. He attended the University of Indiana before deploying to Iraq with the Indiana National Guard. He is currently employed by Crow Mercedes Benz in St. Petersburg, Fla. An October 30 beach wedding is planned in St. Petersburg, Fla.
