Buisset-Hulsey announce Jean and Lonnie Ellis wedding plans for April celebrate 65th anniversary

Tammy Vincent of Mechanicsville, is proud to announce the engagement of her daughter, Miss Brandi Ann Buisset, also the daughter of the late David W. Buisset, to John Merle Chadwick Hulsey, son of Ms. Crystal Steines of Colonial Heights, and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Hulsey of Cedartown, Ga. An April 2011 wedding is planned.
King William Artists present Artist’s Opening The King William Artists Exhibit will present an Artist’s Opening featuring oil paintings by Lynn Stewart, oil paintings and graphite by drawings by Stephanie Meador and oil paintings and clay by Christy Cole at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 28, at the W.T. Robinson/Sture G. Olsson Fine Arts Center at 1040 Thompson Ave. in West Point. Entertainment will be provided by the Tidewater Guitar Orchestra at 7 p.m. Tickets are required for the performance.
Jean and Lonnie Ellis of Mechanicsville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends Calabash / Midway Restaurant and Lounge on December 11th, 2010. They have four children, one deceased (Cheryl Hager), eleven grand children, one great grand child and one on the way. Michelle and Chris Mayton along with big sister Alyssa are proud to announce the birth of Olivia Grace Mayton. Olivia was born on July 29, 2010 at 11:34 p.m. at St. Mary’s Hospital, weighing 5 lbs. 14 oz. and 18 inches long. Proud grandparents are Gail and Ralph Ellis, Barbara and Carl Vollmer, and Charles Kenneth Mayton all of Mechanicsville. Greatgrandparents are Jeane and Bill Beck of Mechanicsville and Emily and Gerald Raduns of Sandston. Olivia was also welcomed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Karin Buettner and the St. Mary’s Labor and Delivery and Mother Infant staff for the World Class care we received! We greatly appreciate everyone’s love and support!
