halfs and cradles working for him throughout the day to go 4-1. “I was a little nervous for some matches, just because it was my first tournament this year,” he said. “But, once you get out on the mat, it kinda goes away. Being my Senior year, I want to go all out.” Finishing out for the evening at 189 was teammate Jake Nusbaum who lost by decision against his Poquoson opponent. A pleasant surprise for Bradley came from one of his newbies. “We got a big pin from our freshman 103 pounder, first-year wrestler, Jacob Rozsahegyi,” Bradley said. “He’s really only been wrestling a few weeks.” Rozsahegyi got his first pin against his New Kent opponent. “I was excited,” he said. “Just warming up; and preparing for the next match.” A long event like the Duals can feel like a marathon for many but Bradley did a good job of keeping his Hawks prepared and did not allow them to get distracted. “I just try to let them know what they’re dealing with as far as our opponent in the next round,” he said. “If it’s a long day to refocus for each match; but to take one match at a time, and concentrate on who we’re facing at that point.” Looking ahead, Bradley said his Hawks have goals to accomplish. “The guys have their minds to compete for the Regional title; hoping to defend last year’s title, and compete to win it.” However, Hanover is not focusing on a solitary opponent. “We’re just working on ourselves,” Bradley said. “If we can concentrate and do that, then everything else will fall into place.” Top 8 Teams: 1.
