Remove the bumper off the car. 2

Drill a hole using an 8mm drill on the place where you want to position the sensor. And use the hole to guide the M8 screw in.

Remove the screw from the tool. Install both parts on the opposite side of the bumper and put back the screw.

After the bumper is cut, remove the tool and discard the plastic parts inside.

The same operation can be done with a simple battery powered screwdriver.
