Embedding a
Video into WebCT
First, login into WebCT. Once there, click on your course.
Click on Build
Click on Add File…
… then Create File

The Create File window will appear. Click on Enable HTML Creator.
You’ll notice that the user interface has changed. Now click on Source View.

You should see HTML code like the example above. We will now go to YouTube.
*Some Users disable the embed feature eliminating the ability to directly embed the video into your WebCT course.

Find a video and click on Embed*.
The embed code will appear which we needed to copy. We can copy by either CTRL+C or Right-Clicking and choose Copy. Now return to WebCT.

Now, paste the Embed Code in between the following two HTML tags: <body> </>body>

Click Save.
Switch to Student View.
Click on the recently added file.
Congratulations! Youâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;ve embedded a YouTube into a WebCT file.
