MEMBERS’ NEWS Logwin´s Red Carpet Logistics The red carpet logistics (RCL) concept was launched in November 2011 by total logistic solution provider Logwin in Malaysia with the aim of capturing the significant and growing demand for premium fashion and lifestyle brands in Asia. The RCL product will primarily focus on premium European labels going into Asia, and Asian premium brands going to Europe, Australia and the US. “Our high-end fashion and lifestyle customers need specialized
services because of the specific handling requirements for their products. To provide a premium service for their products, we have established a network of dedicated warehouses and offer air and ocean freight, distribution, shop delivery and Value Added Services,” said Oswin Pepels, (pictured left) General Manager Contract Logistics Malaysia at Logwin’s business segment Air + Ocean. The main benefit for Logwin’s customers is that RCL enhances the entire flow of fashion and lifestyle goods from production to point of sale, providing them with a complete logistics solution. Logwin aims to strengthen its leading position in the fashion and lifestyle logistics sector through the expansion of its RCL network across Asia.
