Application Process Below are the steps a student needs to take in order to plan his or her study abroad experience. 1. All students seeking admission to the EGIP shall complete a UNH-in-ITALY APPLICATION http:// www.unhinitaly.unh.edu/media/pdfs/ application.pdf The application deadline is April 3. There is a $40 application fee. 2. Apply for your passport. If you have a passport, check the expiration date to confirm that it will not expire until 6 months after your return. 3. Complete the Study Away Eligibility form and return the form to the Conduct and Mediation office located in 4 Hitchcock Hall by March 1st.

Prior Disciplinary and Criminal Incidents The EGIP adheres to a policy adopted by the Center for International Education that students seeking to study abroad must be free of disciplinary incidents and criminal convictions. Under some circumstances the Academic Standards Committee will grant waivers to students who have successfully fulfilled the terms of disciplinary sanctions imposed by the UNH Judicial Program for isolated misconduct. 1. In completing the UNH in Italy application form, please type or print in ink. 2. If you are under 18, have your parent or guardian also sign. It is not necessary to have a faculty member write a recommendation for you 3. The application must be accompanied by a nonrefundable $40 application fee. 4. Mail or drop off the completed application by April 3 (for Fall) to:

Applications are considered on a “rolling basis.” Applicants are usually notified of the admission committee’s decision within two or three weeks after an application is completed. 2. Students who accept our invitation to join the program should respond within 2 weeks and include a $400 non-refundable deposit, which will be applied toward the total program fee. Since the number of spaces is limited, it may not be possible to hold an offered place beyond this date.
