Carol Lonbaken is celebrating face to face with our King and all of Heaven. She is greatly loved and will be missed deeply but our God is well and able to see us through. It brings such peace knowing she is rejoicing with our Creator! Family and friends, know that she loved you and because of His grace through salvation, we will see her again. She was proceeded in death by father Roy Laughlin, mother Rosemary Laughlin and brothers Ronny Laughlin and John Laughlin. Carol is survived by her husband of 44 years Clifford Lonbaken, daughter Shawn Umphred and son-in-love Patrick Umphred; sons Todd Irish and Clint Lonbaken; brothers Larry Laughlin and Robert Laughlin; sisters Mary Triplett, Sharon Willis and Kathryn Laughlin and five grandchildren Dominic Adame, Ian Umphred, Cody Lonbaken, Molly Lonbaken and Samantha Umphred. Carol was born in Windsor, Mo. Her family moved to Marysville, CA, in 1950. Carol loved family; over the years she nurtured strong relationships with her siblings who she adored. Cliff, Carol and family moved to the Placerville area in 1976. Where Carol served the Lord faithfully, loved her husband dearly and was an amazing mother not only to her children but the neighborhood kids too. To say Carol thought the world of her grandchildren is only hitting the tip of her love for each of them. Carol loved children and put her gift to use as an incredible preschool teacher and director at Green Valley Christian Preschool for 20 years. Carol had a full life and cherished her friendships. She always found time to listen, pray and play!
