Gentle Yoga Fitness (MCC)

Enjoy increased flexibility, strength, balance and energy as you challenge, while respecting and honoring your body. For all fitness levels. This style of yoga uses exercises, breath work, mantra and meditation to help create vitality in the body, balance in the mind and openness in the spirit. Join us for an active practice that can create stamina and a calm heart that may help you feel lighter, freer and happier. Classes for Adults The Knitting Circle (MCC)

Both experienced and beginner knitters welcome! Come every other week for a knitting circle supervised by an instructor. Beginners can learn how to knit, and those with experience can come relax with other knitters, get help with their projects or learn new skills. Bring your own supplies/projects, or you can purchase a beginner’s kit from the instructor for $20. Instructor: Julie Thatcher.

Strength & Balance (MCC)

Includes warm-up, strength-building, balance exercises, gentle stretches and chair-based options. Bring water, dumbbells, resistance “stretchy” bands and a 6- to 8-inch diameter ball. Instructor: Linda Bernstein.
