Hawthorn 84 def Blackburn 62 A solid team effort saw Hawthorn ease past Blackburn by 22 points. Five Magic players scored in double figures with Ajuong Maker leading the way with 15 points off the bench. Jack Roberts top scored for Blackburn with 22 points but needed more from his teammates with only one other reaching 10.

Eltham 86 def Waverley 72 A strong second half saw Eltham defeat Waverley by 14 points. Both sides had five players score double figures with no one scoring more than 15. Christian Yammouni reached the mark for Eltham and Malek Bar the same for Waverley. In what was a fairly even game, Eltham’s 46% from the field to Waverley’s 41% proved to be the difference.

Diamond Valley 49 def by Dandenong 75 Dandenong cruised past Diamond Valley, winning by 26 points. Four of the five Rangers starters scored in double figures with Jake Tranter top scoring with 13. Diamond Valley struggled from the field, going at 30%. Luke Liesegang led the way with 14 points.

Sherbrooke 80 def by Hawthorn 115 Hawthorn scored at will against Sherbrooke on their way to winning by 35 points. Hawthorn made 60% of their two-point shots to Sherbrooke’s 45% on their way to the win. Joe Furphy had 26 points and 11 rebounds, with Ethan Delzoppo scoring 24 off the bench. Samual Carl scored 19 points to lead Sherbrooke’s scoring.

Kilsyth 65 def by Nunawading 74 After a poor start, Nunawading overran Kilsyth to win by nine points. Remo Simankevicius was dominant for the Spectres with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Tony Marchese had a strong game for Kilsyth with 14 points to go along with five rebounds and four assists. Bulleen 61 def by McKinnon 94 The Cougars dominated Bulleen, winning by a massive 33 points. Thomas Bartlett had 16 points and 10 rebounds for the victors and was aided by Leon Twigg’s 17 points off the bench. Liam Davidson led Bulleen in scoring with 17 points, but his team were inefficient, shooting 31% from the field. Ringwood 77 def Keilor 75 Yuot Gai’s lay-up with one second to go gave Ringwood a two-point win over Keilor. Gai had a big game with 15 points and 14 rebounds while his teammate Matthew Roberts scored 28 points and had five rebounds and five assists. For Kilsyth, Zac Triplett had 19 points and and Kyle Collins; 18.

Blackburn 71 def by Eltham 98 Eltham dominated Blackburn, winning by 27 points to get their second win of the weekend. Eltham captain Christian Yammouni had 26 points along with four steals to lead the way. Sam Porteous had 20 points for Blackburn, while Michael Zuccolo added 15. Waverley 66 def by Ringwood 67 Ringwood won their second nail biter of the weekend thanks to a free throw from Thomas Lock with seven seconds to go. The one-point win was led by Sebastien Lees who scored 18 points. For Waverley, Malek Bar scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Nunawading 123 def Southern 69 Nunawading demolished the Sabres to secure their second win of the weekend. Remo Simankevicius was again the best for the Spectres scoring 21 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Sabres captain Mitchell Stewart scored 17 points off the bench to lead his side.
