1 VPK MERIDA’s in-house “Virtual Pivot Kinematics” suspension is a chassis with a virtual pivot point. VPK is utilized for the MTB models ONE-FORTY, ONE-SIXTY and ONEEIGHTY. This concept ensures that all bikes of the 145, 160 and 180 mm travel category combine outstanding bump sensitivity with convincing drivetrain and braking neutrality in every imaginable situation.

5 Lockout / Remote Lockout The suspension fork and/or the shock unit in the rear of your MERIDA bike can be locked – either by direct controls or via a “remote control” at the handlebar. Lockout mode is ideally suited for rides on smooth surfaces or powerful sprints/attacks – not only during steep uphills. When things get rougher again, the suspension can be switched on and off in a completely intuitive way via remote.

1 Double Chamber Technology Via a special reinforcement rib (such as in the full-carbon forks of road bikes), MERIDA competently combines two different technological characteristics which seem to be quite contradictory at first sight: Outstanding torsion-stiffness for maximum handling quality and safety on the one hand, a certain damping flexibility on the other. In this effective way, MERIDA forks become equally safe and comfortable.

2 M.O.R.E. Suspension The performance of a full-suspension MTB chassis changes with the frame size? Not at MERIDA – due to our “M.O.R.E. Suspension” (“MERIDA Optimized Ride Engineering”) technology! This single pivot and linkage system is used in MERIDA bikes with up to 120 mm travel and makes sure that the thought-through kinematics and excellent drivetrain neutrality stay constant throughout all available frame sizes.
5 S-Flex Aero road bikes are always hard and unforgiving? Not so at MERIDA! Thanks to our “S-Flex” technology, the REACTO shines with a seating comfort which is outstanding in this segment. With its elastomer window, the aerodynamically optimized seat post absorbs surface bumps very effectively. In this way, “S-Flex” saves the REACTO rider’s power reserves efficiently also over long cycling distances.

6 Float Link This rear end construction features a “floating” shock: The lower mount moves together with the system and offers very sensitive response characteristics. In addition, engineers are able to influence transmission ratio and progression in an optimal way. In practice, a “Float Link” rear end feels like having more travel than it actually does. Finally, the omission of the shock mount in the main frame provides a clean look.
2 Modular Head / MODULAR COCKPIT With the WARP TT, the TEAM LAMPREMERIDA trusts in an absolute specialist. To improve the rider’s position on the bike, MERIDA’s very own “Modular Head” system enables the increase of the effective head-tube length via special inserts (30 resp. 60 mm). With an adjustable stem, Di2 integration, variable armrests and aero bars, the “Modular Cockpit” of the WARP TT multiplies the options for individual adaptability even more.

8 3 C-S Post Mount Disc “Chain Stay Post Mount Disc” – this technology is the result of three findings. First, a brake mount positioned within the frame triangle optimally protects the brake from external influences. Second, the caliper is supported by the chain stay and is therefore able to distribute the occurring physical forces in an ideal way. Third, internally routed cables can reach the brake neatly from the chain stay.
6 Flip Flop Head Of course, an aero bike has to offer best possible data in terms of aerodynamics. But at MERIDA, best possible adaptability ranges directly second. Because even superb wind-tunnel data can be useless if the pilot is not able to position her-/himself optimally on the bike and thereby produces an unnecessarily high air resistance. Thanks to the “Flip Flop” head for the saddle, the seating angles of our REACTO and WARP TT can be modified optimally.
7 GuideD Remote Good guidance: the “Guided Remote” technology ensures that the cable of the remote-lockout is perfectly routed towards the rear shock – not only visually clean, but also technologically. Used for example in the new ONE-TWENTY, this concept guarantees that unwanted cable movement is restricted. Advantage: optimal function of the remote control in every situation. The housing also does not scratch the frame.

7 Naca Fastback Profile The special “NACA Fastback” tube profiles of our WARP TT and REACTO base on the evaluation of data which were collected during comprehensive wind-tunnel tests (with and without pilot simulations). Particularly at the down-tube, seat-tube, and seat-stay sections, the drop-shaped tube designs with their cropped rear ends prove to be optimal in aerodynamic respect. This way, the essential factors of stiffness and aerodynamics can be combined ideally.
3 Di2 Ready Like WorldTour pro riders, more and more technology-loving road riders trust in Shimano’s electronic Di2 shifting system, which is characterized by high reliability and efficient, effortless operability. Bikes/frames with the symbol “Di2 Ready” are optimally prepared for the installation of this technology – especially with a battery mounting possibility below the chain stay or in the seat post.

8 4 Thru-Axle Thru-axles at the front and/or rear wheel offer various advantages: besides their high torsional stiffness, they especially ensure easy wheel installation and also guarantee an always correct position of the brake rotor. Because in contrast to quick-release solutions, the position of the wheel is always 100 percent the same. MERIDA trusts in 12 mm thru-axles in the rear and 15 mm versions in the front.

8 Double Stop / Down tube Exit Rear suspension often causes problems with the rear shifting cable (e.g. formation of loops, abrasion/friction, undesired shifting) which are caused by movement during compression. Thanks to a double break via special sleeves (“Double Stop”), MERIDA keeps the defined cable length constant. Due to a large cable exit in the down tube, “Down Tube Exit” additionally puts an end to awkward handling of internally routed cables.
4 F-Flex The “F” for “fork” indicates that the fork of our comfort racer RIDE shares a technological principle with the aero racer REACTO: best possible flexibility paired with maximum performance. “S-Flex” protects the REACTO’s rear end against hard impacts. In a similar way, the “F-Flex” fork of the RIDE ensures effective absorption of surface bumps. Besides comfort, this provides the pilot with extra handling safety.
8 Integrated SP clamp Designing high-end working tools for a WorldTour squad is similar to the work of a Formula 1 team: Even each apparently most non-descript detail can finally result in decisive split seconds. So the “Integrated Seat Post Clamp” of our WARP TT and REACTO is much more than just a visual highlight: This special kind of seat-post clamping minimizes turbulences at the top tube’s end efficiently and thereby saves important power reserves.
