Students from the Specialist Marine Studies Programme at Ocean Reef Senior High School had the unique opportunity recently to meet and engage with Lt. Cdr. Roopa and Lt. Cdr. Dilna of INSV Tarini, who are currently docked in Fremantle as part of the Navika Sagar Parikrama-II expedition.

The students, keen on marine studies, were enthralled as the two naval officers shared their personal experiences and challenges encountered during their historic global circumnavigation. The event was a source of inspiration for the students, who were eager to hear about the officers' resilience, teamwork, and the significance of their remarkable journey.

Dr. James Kent, Principal of Ocean Reef Senior High, and Associate Principal Ashti Mullen warmly welcomed the officers, ensuring the students had a meaningful interaction. This event, part of the school’s marine studies programme, highlighted the connection between education and real-world exploration.
