Consul General inaugurates India Pavilion at Global Sourcing Expo

Melbourne, November 19 (Australia India News Newsdesk)

Consul General Dr. Sushil Kumar inaugurated the India Pavilion at Global Sourcing Expo being held at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 19-21, 2024. The Consul General also joined R. Gandhi, Minister for Handloom & Textiles for inauguration of Tamil Nadu Pavilion.

About 190 Indian exhibitors facilitated by Indian Export Promotion Councils and the government of Tamil Nadu participated in the exhibition to showcase India’s textile, apparel, handloom, handicrafts and woollen products. On the sidelines, a business networking event was held to promote trade and investment ties in the textile sector and promote participation from Australia at the Bharat Tex 2025 , India’s largest textile expo scheduled to be held in New Delhi from February 14-17, 2025.
