Museum of Contemporary Art Denver (MCA Denver) invests in exhibitions and programs that challenge conventional thinking around what makes a museum a museum. We invest in teens as they are trying on their own identities, discovering their place in the world, and pushing the boundaries of what they know and what they want to discover. This inclination towards risk-taking leads them to exploration, and the museum becomes a natural home for them, a place to discover through interactions with art and artists, and a place to find a diverse group of peers with whom to share experiences and discover the art of their time.
