All persons over 17 years of age must have a current TPWD Texas Freshwater Fishing License. Fishing is catch and release only. No casting nets or trout lines allowed.

BOATING GUIDELINES

No motorized boats permitted. Personal canoes and kayaks are allowed. Persons in canoes or kayaks must wear a life jacket at all times.

RENTAL INFORMATION

Pavilion & Pumphouse are available to rent for birthday parties, family reunions and corporate functions. For more information contact the McAllen Parks and Recreation Administration Office at (956) 681-3333.

h2O HUT & BOAT RENTAL HOURS

Here’s a unique way to entertain guests, kids or friends. Rent a kayak or pedal boat and enjoy the view from out on the water. Witness a variety of wildlife, fish or just enjoy the scenery. All ages welcome - Youth ages 15 & under must be accompanied by an adult during any boat rental.

Saturday - Sunday Take a spin on McAllen’s newest attraction. This bike share program is available at several locations throughout the city. • Town Lake at Fireman’s Park • 2nd Street Hike & Bike Trail • McAllen Convention Center • McAllen City Hall • Downtown Park & Ride • Archer Park • McAllen Heritage Center

First 60 minutes are FREE! Additional usage fees apply to trips over 60-minutes. Simply return your bike to any station and check it back out to restart your 60-minute period. Rental Policies

• All children must be accompanied by an adult on pedal boats • All watercraft rentals include life jackets. • Life jackets must be worn by passengers at all times • A valid driver’s license is required for all rentals • Participation waiver must be signed and approved by rental manager for all riders.

Purchase a variety of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables from local growers and farms. Vendors also sell handmade breads, fresh eggs, grass fed beef, soaps, jams, jellies and more natural products.
