NATURE DISCOVERY CAMP A unique experience every week! A combination of indoor and outdoor adventure, games, wildlife exploration, scavenger hunts, science and art! ADVANCE REGISTRATION: Required (online or in person) FEE: $40.00 Residents $60.00 Non-Residents TIME: 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. DATE: 6 Unique Camps (one week each--Tuesday to Friday) NOTE: Bring a light snack, water, bug spray, hat, sunscreen and wear tennis shoes to camp.

“Lost in the Wilderness” – Survival Skills 101 Learn to build a shelter, filter water, and navigate the forest using a GPS system. Session 2: July 5 – 8 • Class #:362022.02 Reptile Camp - Level II Learn about the lifestyle and traits of some of South Texas’ most common snakes and lizards. Participate in hands-on lab investigations and learn all about reptilian adaptations, distribution, ecology, and physiology. Session 3: July 19 – 22 • Class #:362022.03

Dates: June 11, July 9, August 6 GPS Workshop Discover a new level of excitement as you learn how to trot the globe by searching for clues and destination points using Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. Bring your own GPS unit or borrow one of ours. Register for this exciting adventure! Dates: June 18, July 23, August 20 Digital Photography Workshop Explore the natural world behind a lens, as you observe and focus on light, color, texture, form, and patterns found in nature. Participants will also have a chance to submit photos to Southern Exposures, Youth Nature Photo Contest, and attend the Awards Ceremony on August 18th!
