Un-installing MacAfee Antivirus From your PC (Window)
Open your McAfee account.
If you want to uninstall McAfee antivirus or you want to reuse licenses of your McAfee antivirus used with another PC. You need to released it; this can save your money since you will not need to buy a new license. Visit McAfee home page http://home.mcafee.com and click the button “My Account”. Enter your email address and password and click “log in”.
Step to deactivate licenses In My Account page you can find all information related to your McAfee internet security licenses like version, licenses term and expiring date. You can find the list of PC registered with your account. Select the tab of the PC you can want to deactivate the licenses. In detail section click the button “Deactivate”. A confirmation pop-up window will appear, Click “Deactivate”. Now the license is released and ready to reuse.
Un-install McAfee internet security
In window 8, search “Control Panel” and open Control Panel by clicking it. In control panel click the “Program” option. This will show the list of all the software installed in your pc. Find and click on McAfee internet security, press the “Un-install” button and follow the instruction to uninstall. In window 7, click “Start” button then click the Control Panel. Select program>program & features. Find McAfee internet security from the list of all installed software in our PC. Click on the “Un-install” button and follow the instruction to uninstall.
