Elevator is a social enterprise dedicated to supporting entrepreneurship, enterprise and employability in Scotland. Elevator engages with the entrepreneurial ecosystem to provide support and advice for start-up and growing businesses of all sizes, in all sectors. Elevator works with young people teaching enterprising behaviour and skills to secure jobs. Elevator Business Centres provide a home for business with our 19 centres of flexible office space across Scotland.

Delivering a number of community driven initiatives, Elevator helps those looking to become future leaders or to enter employment. Business success in the North East is celebrated annually with the Elevator Awards, and over 1,000 business owners and young people are inspired at Elevator's annual 'Making it Happen' Conference.

Within Aberdeen Energy Park at Bridge of Don, Elevator’s technology driven headquarters are a beacon for entrepreneurship housing a world-class business Accelerator Programme in an ‘open to all’ Centre for Entrepreneurship, where business needs are supported by experts and all free resources for starting, running and growing a business can be accessed. Elevator’s Accelerator Programme is geared to propel ambitious entrepreneurs with global business concepts into to new marketplaces, with in-depth support and mentoring.

Business Gateway

Business Gateway provides FREE business advice, training and information for both new start and established businesses across Scotland. Aberdeen has the most technologically advanced Business Gateway centre in the country, only 2 minutes’ walk from the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. Operating as a no appointment necessary, drop in facility, entrepreneurs can undertake a range of support activities including market research, business training and networking in addition to discussing their plans with experienced and qualified Business Advisers. The support that businesses receive allows them to develop and grow by increasing their sales, profitability and workforces.

Based in Aberdeen’s Energy and Innovation Park, Bridge of Don, the centre offers an environment designed to encourage business success by providing easy access to additional support from both the public and private sectors.
