Design Specifications To match with the guidelines mentioned above, also to create a readable, responsive and reliable dashboard, dash uses these specifications in particular. We make use of the Vuesax package (MIT License) in support of our front-end Vue.js framework. In the documentation, we list out the frequently used components, and in-depth documentation can be found on the Vuesax website.
Component
The card-based component is most commonly used in dashboard design, to make each part of data stand out while having a consistent hierarchy, relationship so that the whole system will make much sense. Meanwhile, instead of having sharp edges for every card on the dashboard, our design is learning from Google Material Design, where cards have rounded corners, providing a better shadow, layout, and overall feeling. The card that dash is using, has a corner radius of 8, and it fits layouts when resizes based on the screen. 33
