When the Competition Is World-Class, Geoff Kabush Trusts Maxxis As one of Maxxis’ most prestigious sponsored riders, Geoff Kabush has enhanced the company’s brand by winning title after title at contests around the world. According to Kabush, his relationship with Maxxis has benefited both parties. “I can attribute many of my victories over the years to Maxxis and having the right tire for the right conditions,” he said. “Maxxis’ commitment to performance and quality ensures that I have every advantage possible when it comes to the tires on my bike.” Photo: Gibson

That performance and quality have aided Kabush in contests ranging from the 2008 Olympic Games to the World Cup. His national championships and World Cup wins include ten Canadian National Cross Country titles; a World Cup victory at Bromont in 2009; numerous World Cup podiums; US National Cross XC and STXC titles; and the 2007 Pan American championship. Highlights obviously abound in such a storied career, but for Kabush, the World Cup triumphs are especially sweet. “I have had a record-setting number of victories at national championships and national series events, but my results at the World Cups are the ones that stand out to me,” he told Maxxis. “The World Cup is the highest caliber of competition, and finally standing on the top step of the podium at the 2009 Bromont World Cup is certainly a highlight for me.” Kabush capped a typically strong season in 2011 with tenth place at the World Championships. Trusting Maxxis as always to carry him to the podium, Kabush has lately relied on the Maxis Ikon, Aspen, Larsen TT, MaxxLite 285, Larsen Oriflamme and Beaver, as well as many others when training.
