De niña, Léa no soñaba con ser actriz sino cantante de ópera. Siendo adolescente formó parte del Conservatorio de París.

En este 2020, Léa Seydoux se consolida como chica Bond pues forma parte del elenco (nuevamente) de la saga del agente 007, con la película ‘No Time to Die’. Léa nació el 1 de julio de 1985 en París. Es hija de Valérie Schlumberger, también actriz y diseñadora de vestuario; y del productor Henri Seydoux. Se crio en St. Germain-des-Prés, donde recibió de sus padres una estricta formación religiosa. Junto a su novio, el modelo alemán André Meyer, Léa procreó al pequeño Georges, hoy de tres años.

Su carrera cinematográfica comenzó a despuntar cuando participó en ‘La Belle Personne’, cinta que le mereció una nominación a los Premios César para lo mejor del cine francés. En este drama francés dirigido por Christophe Honoré, la actriz interpreta a una estudiante de nombre Junie quien, luego de iniciar una nueva vida tras la muerte de su madre, ésta se enamora de su profesor. La historia es una de amor entre dos mujeres: la de la adolescente francesa Adele (Adéle Exarchopoulos) y la aspirante a pintora Emma (Léa Seydoux). Con escenas explícitas de sexo, la cinta que oscila entre el drama y el romance, fue la favorita ese año por la crítica.

Born on July 1, 1985 in Paris, Léa is the daughter of Valérie Schlumberger, also an actress and costume designer, and producer Henri Seydoux. She was raised in St. Germain-des-Prés where she received a strict religious upbringing from her parents. She has a young son, George, aged three years old with her German boyfriend, André Meyer, who is a model.

Her movie career started when she starred in La Belle Personne, a film that was nominated for the César Award for best French cinema. In this French drama directed by Christophe Honoré, the actress plays Junie, a student who falls in love with her teacher after rebuilding her life following the death of her mother. Subsequently, she featured in Lourdes (2009), Inglourious Basterds (2009), Robin Hood (2010), Dear Prudence (2010), Midnight in Paris (2011), Misión Imposible: Ghost protocol (2011), My Wife’s Romance (2011), Farewell, My Queen (2012) and Sister (2012), to mention a few.

However, it was in 2013 with her role in Blue Is the Warmest Color when she took the limelight. A love story between two women — a French teenager, Adele (Adéle Exarchopoulos) and an aspiring painter, Emma (Léa Seydoux) — with explicit sex scenes, the film oscillates between drama and romance becoming a favorite that year among critics.
