Initial Reaction: “I think my reaction said it all! When my name was called, it didn’t feel real. I was totally blown away. When you leave a steady pay check to pursue a dream and start a company, it’s a huge leap of faith. I’ve worked so hard this year, so to have that recognised with such an amazing award, and to be on that stage among industry legends and incredibly talented creatives - it means the world to me. I’m so grateful to the PG and GCA teams, my lovely stockists, suppliers and to this wonderful community of people that have helped support me this last year where I’ve gone from a Ladder Club rookie to a Henries’ award winner! I’m so excited to see where this incredible journey will lead me and what the next year has in store for Bird & Co Studio.” Emily Byrd, director and founder of Bird & Co Studio Above: What a great start to the awards ceremony!
