And, with all the recent success in making the genre as sustainable and ecofriendly as possible, dramatically reducing plastic packaging, much of the development focus has been on improving the way planners and calendars work in the real world. Adding to its existing range of family organisers Danilo has a new format with The Deluxe Planner aimed at busy households so its four columns have space for each member, along with a To Do pad, stickers and sticky notes on the side giving space for shopping lists and notes. And it’s an approach that’s really working, as marketing manager Claire Bates explained: “Overall our 2024 calendars experienced a positive uplift, with licensed calendars performing exceptionally well. We’re delighted that sales were up on last year and our Christmas Eve sales on
