especially for you
If you have a stone you would like to have made into a piece of jewellery, an old necklace you would like redesigned into something more contemporary, or you would like a piece made to go with an outfit for a special occasion, or maybe you would like a coordinated set for you and your bridesmaids on your special day, then our bespoke service is for you. Also, if you have seen a piece you like on the website, but would prefer a different colour, in most cases (depending on availability of materials), Maxine would be able to make it for you. Just be aware that the price may be higher or lower than that of the original due to the difference in cost of your chosen stones.
If you don't live in the Sydney Metropolitan area, design sketches and photographs of suggested stones can be emailed to you for your approval. Please do not ask Maxine to copy another jewellery designer's work as this is unethical (actually illegal under copywright law) and she doesn't do it.

The necklace and earrings pictured here were made for a client who had purchased the large amethyst some years before in India and came to Maxine asking to have it made as a pendant on a three-strand necklace. Maxine suggested these luscious citrine nuggets as a contrasting background for the amethyst and the client loved the idea. The necklace was made with an extension chain at the back so the length can be adjusted.
This customer had seen a similar bracelet Maxine had made in sterling silver and Maxine suggested that she had been considering making one using gold and silver. The client loved the idea as a lot of her jewellery combines both yellow and white gold.
This necklace was made for a lady who loves black and silver. She wanted something elegant and simple that included pearls. The black onyx pendant is 40x30mm and set in sterling silver. The necklace is of large baroque (irregular shaped) freshwater pearls.
This stunning freshwater pearl necklace was made for a bride who wanted a classic strand of pearls to go with her South Sea pearl stud earrings, but without the expense of South Sea pearls. Maxine sourced some really special 11 to 11.5mm freshwater pearls and added a fabulous 14kt gold clasp to create a beautiful necklace which this bride will wear for years to come.
