What is artificial intelligence (AI)?

Artificial intelligence refers to computer systems that seek to mimic human cognitive function through machines, processors and software in order to perform data processing and analysis tasks.

Types of AI according to the level of intelligence:

Narrow artificial intelligence

Narrow artificial intelligence (ANI) is also known as weak AI. This type of AI has a limited range of capabilities and focuses on a single task. Most of the AI applications that are used in everyday life fall into this classification

General Artificial Intelligence

Like the categories theory of mind and selfawareness, artificial general intelligence (AGI) is still under investigation At this level, machines are expected to be as capable as humans, being able to imitate the most complex brain functions

What is needed to create artificial intelligence?

Artificial intelligence is developed from algorithms, which are mathematical learning capabilities, and from the data needed to train the algorithms The data is usually observable data, publicly available data or data generated in some companies.

Super Artificial Intelligence

Finally, the third level of intelligence that is expected to reach is known as artificial super intelligence (ASI). At this point, machines will not only be able to carry out the same reflection and analysis processes as a human, but they will also be more capable.
