doxologia With text from Revelations 7:10-12, Doxologia was envisioned while the composer was on a 20-hour bus ride in Argentina back in 2011. From a single line, to a budding harmonic texture, its melli uous cascading theme combines to depict and recreate the beauty of the vast Argentine landscape. e piece is homage to God and a prayer of thanksgiving for His unceasing love and faithfulness.

about the composer Ily is one of the most sought after composers and arrangers in the Philippines and in the international choral scene today. A 2017 Polyphonos Composition Competition awardee (Seattle, USA), and a nalist at the First Jean Sibelius Composition Competition (Hämeenlinna, Finland 2014). His works are being performed in prestigious choral competitions and festivals all over the world and recorded by some of the world’s best choirs and Grammy award winning groups like the the King’s Singers & the Swingles, to name a few. Born and raised in the Philippines, Ily received his degree in Music Education at the University of the Philippines College of Music and became part of the renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers for 8 years as a countertenor. In pursuit of choral excellence, his works continue to re ect and set an exciting new set of standards that elevate the musical artistry and creativity of today's dynamic choral industry.
