EXECUTIVE SUMMARY ABM - A TRUE PARTNER FOR LTISD “ABM stands ready as your trusted partner, supporting your mission of emphasizing scholastic excellence and provide students the foundation to be successful in their chosen endeavors”
Dear Angie, Lake Travis has had quite the school year. Your team faced the pandemic head-on, successfully reopening your doors and getting students safely back to the classroom. Despite the obstacles, your faculty and students have found ways to make this past year a tremendous success. Sonny Wang recently won the state championship in the 100m freestyle. Your soccer team has also had considerable success with an unbeaten record. Lastly, your academic ratings have remained outstanding. These are just a few of your many accomplishments. That said, in large part, you’ve done it alone. We at ABM are proposing a true partnership, moving past the notion of just a facilities provider and into the realm of trusted confidant. Helping you create the best possible places to learn and nurture students aspirations. To do this, we’ve focused on the following areas of your key commitments. VI. Provide a safe and secure educational setting for students and staff. Our solution provides the utmost quality. In this context, quality means not only clean campuses and buildings but an environment that’s disinfected and genuinely safe. We ABM implement processes and standards that are based on decades of experience - giving your team the confidence to go about their business. Furthermore, we’ve proposed a world-class safety program that incorporates the very best-practices from a variety of industries. The result is keeping your campuses in operation and secure in an highly uncertain world.

PROPOSAL OBJECTIVES HOW WE INTEND TO HELP ABM
1
SUSTAINABLE FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE You made it clear throughout this process that Lake Travis’ primary goal is to have the most efficient solution possible. We at ABM have done just that; our proposal drives financial performance with low pricing and capital investment. More importantly, our proposal is a sustainable solution that looks past the start of services and ensures that you have healthy, clean, and safe campuses.
2
IMPROVED QUALITY OF SERVICES For the most part, your campuses are in relatively good condition. That said, we’ve identified a few areas for small/ incremental improvements. More specifically, scrubbing and waxing floors to ensure proper disinfection. Also, arraying staff to provide coverage during the day to tackle work as it occurs but focusing on a more thorough cleaning during the evening to elevate service quality. Floors waxed but not stripped and scrubbed
3
UNRIVALED CREDIBILITY & EXPERIENCE You must have a partner with experience and credibility to deliver on their promises. ABM is just that; we are the largest and most trusted facilities management partner in Texas and the nation. Furthermore, we have enough account density and support to become the trusted partner that’ll be able to tackle any of the challenges Lake Travis ISD may encounter.

CLEANING METHODOLOGY MAKING LTISD THE BEST POSSIBLE PLACE TO LEARN
CUSTOMIZED TO LAKE TRAVIS ISD:
ABM’s approach to project management ensures that you receive a plan designed to specifically address your requirements while utilizing our proven, documented processes. We analyze information gathered from your facility walkthrough and from discussions with your representatives about the unique requirements of your facility. By doing this, we can determine “best practices” for your facility based on our experience providing similar services to clients in the same industry. Before we begin service delivery, ABM will provide LTISD with: • Job Specifications – A detailed document that describes the specific tasks ABM will perform before and after service installation. • Security Compliance – Appropriate security consistent with the requirements of your facility,
which may include key logs and background checks that will be incorporated into our management plan. • Communications Plan – A communications plan that includes using log books, call lists, wireless e-mail, two-way radios, pagers and cell phones used by ABM personnel so that we are always immediately available to handle your service requests. Our comprehensive Procedures Manual documents all of our standard operating procedures ensuring that we do things right the first time, every time. And, because we follow the same process every time, we can objectively measure the quality of the services we provide
CARPET CARE:
In educational environments, proper maintenance of carpeted floors is crucial to improving indoor air quality. We will care for your carpets by taking carpet type, traffic volume, wear patterns and requirements of each school into consideration. With a proper care routine, we can reduce the number of pollutants in the air and ensure your carpets last as long as the manufacturer intended.

Your wood floor gyms will be maintained with proper dust mopping and low moisture flat mopping of the surface. OUR APPROACH TO STAFFING CREATING A SUSTAINABLE SOLUTION FOR LTISD
“ Staff ing, benefits, and pay to ensure quality of services and minimal disruptions to Lake Travis’ campuses”
OVERVIEW:
Our staffing approach is simple: hire the right team with consistent and proven performance and pay them competitive wages to ensure the quality of services and minimal turnover. Starting wage rates of $11.00 -$13.00 / hr. are insufficient for the Lake Travis area. Based on our plethora of nearby accounts we are extremely confident about our proposed wages. The look and feel of your campuses leave a lasting impression on everyone that visits. You must have a qualified staff that delivers on your current needs yet is still forward-thinking enough to anticipate future demands. We’ve created a solution model that utilizes primarily dedicated, fulltime employees to ensure continuity for years to come. The result is a competitively priced and sustainable solution for Lake Travis ISD.

TRAINING PROGRAMS KEEPING LTISD UP-TO-DATE “A system that augments in-person training and keeps pace with industry trends” TRAINING PROGRAM:
To ensure consistency and accessibility, we utilize our own online training platform for new team member on-boarding and ongoing staff development called ABM University. The ABM University platform enables management and hourly staff to access a comprehensive variety of service-specific and career development training courses and curricula. Management dashboards provide leadership with a quick look at individual progress via a Training Plan Progress Chart. We design a specific training plan for each team member, affording continuous ondemand training throughout the year.
Team member portals grant access to testing and assessments in a “Netflix” style course catalogue (thumbnail view). Topics include safety, infection control, and general cleaning techniques, cleanroom techniques, maintenance, and many more service-line subjects. Team members can provide feedback and rate the courses they take to help us provide the most effective training possible. Whether self-directed or done in small work-groups, ABM University helps team members stay certified, compliant, and ready to expand their skill sets. These learning opportunities have a tremendous positive impact on team member engagement and organizational performance. We continuously update and add new videos throughout the year to stay current with the most up-to-date materials/topics specific to job functions and infection prevention/ control practices.

Our GoodStart Transition program is fully customized for each of our clients to ensure the project’s start-up goes smoothly and is free from time-consuming miscommunications and disruptions. On contract award, our transition team’s initial activities will be to set up a kick off meeting to identify service needs, review roles and responsibilities, select the appropriate personnel, create a detailed communications and implementation plan, and share it with the client’s and ABM transition teams. Our transition efforts customarily can take anywhere from four to six weeks and typically starts within thirty days of contract award. IMPORTANCE OF ONGOING COMMUNICATION:
In our many years of experience transitioning tens of thousands of clients, whether we are transitioning services from an incumbent provider or starting up services for the first time, we have learned that the key to a successful implementation is clear, ongoing communication of expectations, objectives and outcomes with all parties involved, particularly with management, at all levels on both sides. From the beginning, ABM will hold regular meetings with the client’s team to discuss all phases of the transition, identify best practices and implement them, as needed. We survey everyone on your team who will be affected by the transition in order to address key concerns before they can become bigger issues.

QUALIT Y CONTROL QA/QC TECHNOLOGY SITE - QUALIT Y ASSURANCE:
We provide professional, ABM has established a quality culture that focuses on client satisfaction, involves employees, measures performance, and is continuously improving. To support your quality goals and requirements, we use a unifying quality management system that places a variety of processes into a single framework. This framework acts as a starting point from which LTISD and ABM can evolve and customize a quality program for the district. The program improves efficiencies and allows for greater transparency. ABM’s SITE Technology platform is the tool used to inspect, measure, train and report quality assurance based on the scope of work for the district. It uses web enabled devices to make communication with LTISD more extensive and immediate.
SITE BENEFITS:
• Automated communication, resulting in reduced response time • Complete, up-to-date work order status • Round-the-clock access, communication and tracking • Periodic scheduling and tracking • Customized inspection (based on LTISD’s KPIs) and work order reports providing data for process improvement • Improved client satisfaction • Less time spent managing issues
HOW IT WORKS:
The web-enabled mobile device is carried by ABM on-site managers, day and night. It is also used by ABM District and Operations Managers as they visit facilities. All of their day-to-day activity, from work schedules, emails, job descriptions to specifications, inspections, and work orders, are operable at all times. This allows our site managers to be in the service areas rather than in an office.

FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE THE STABILITY OF ABM OVERVIEW:
ABM achieved revenues of $6 billion in the fiscal year 2020 by faithfully serving over 20,000 clients nationwide in over 200 metro areas. ABM has an exceptionally transparent balance sheet comprised of a strong cash position, minimal debt, and a solid performance record boasting consecutive quarterly dividends since 1965. ABM is also one of the largest facilities services contractors on the New York Stock Exchange. Our subsidiaries Revenues decreased by $511.0 million, or 7.9%, during 2020, as compared to 2019, primarily due to the impact of Pandemic-related disruptions across our businesses. Revenues were also impacted by the loss of certain accounts, primarily in our Aviation business and our U.S. B&I business. Operating profit decreased by $112.6 million, or 54.0%, during 2020, as compared to 2019. The decrease in operating profit is primarily attributable to impairment charges recorded on goodwill and intangible assets totaling $172.8 million due to the adverse impact of market and business conditions resulting from the Pandemic.
