Program: Offices and shops, Competition
Description: The biophil office building is located at the entrance to the town of Saint-Jacques de la Lande, at the heart of a new hub where the recently completed metro station Gaité Courrouze constitutes a point of attraction. With a long glazed bridge connecting two metal clad office buildings, the main volumes are at once divided in their vertical dimension but linked in the horizontal dimension. The bioclimatic design displays a monumental wood truss hovering at the third level, suspended above the trees like a great hyphen in the landscape and creating a covered patio at the ground level. Through the relationship between three elements — two supports and a cross — the project creates a multi-scale dialogue that responds both to the large dimensions of the urban landscape, as well as to the surrounding architecture, all while preserving transparency at the ground floor.
Roles: .Created and updated the 3D model for both internal use and collaboration engineering groups and third-party rendering companies. .Created Grasshopper Scripts for iterative design for components such as: facade grid systems; truss shapes and spacing; perspectives; louver systems: acoustic panel systems; and façade materials and detailing. .Tasked with creating various drawings for the final board totaling to: site plans; sections; elevations; and concept diagrams.

In-House review drawings to examine how the internal truss system reflected manifested on the facade. These were produced using Rhino, Grasshopper, and Enscape.
