2009-2010

location

Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain) This was designed as wardrobe modules. The neutral atmosphere is achieved with Matt White lacquered wood, in combination with a set of abstract forms of methacrylate Opal backlit, that way we enrich the space and avoid mono-material finishes. We also got the continuity sensation by using protected bathed pine wood parquet on the floor for the inside as well as for the outside. The indoor furniture is made by out of melamine, also in white. The limit of the main terrace is resolved through a green wall with pine logs and Ivy.All lighting is indirect and integrated in the furniture. With this we supplement the space, enhancing the volumes and avoiding direct light incidence on the eyes. Teachers: AgustiCosta and Lola Domenech.

RAS BARCELONA year

2009-2010

location

Barcelona (Spain). Project to reform and redesign the historic Barcelona Ras library. The client wanted to maintain the main shelves, which had historic value. At the same time calling for designing a socio-cultural space to accompany the space allocated for the library. The decision to compose the space is taken through wood ladders, with different composition and inclination to use them as a storage element for the books. It was also possible to slide the ladders through wheels at the bottom of the ladder to modify the space getting unrestricted surfacesthat allowed to the space to develop intodifferent social and cultural events. Teacher: Marc Cuixat.

ROSEMARY LODGE year

2015

location

Wimbledon Village (London, UK) Project to develop a complex with seven houses. The challenge was in the brief, I had to follow the same design criteria of the area; as it is a council protected area.Wekept as base of our design the look of the previous buildings. We decided to use red brickwork with stone features for bands and window/door surroundsto complete the look. Keeping a classical front elevation; we decided on a combination between classical and modern on the rear of the houses using straight line design with large windows and patio doors for the garden trying to achieve a nice transition between classical and contemporary.

92 COPSE HILL year

2015-2016

location

Borough of Merton (London, UK) I was part of the design team on this project, developed for a private client, where the main target was to fulfil the demands of the client: a contemporary styled house with abundance of natural light. We achieved this with large windows from floor to ceiling and double height for the entrance hall. The palette of colours chosen is neutral colours combined with copper metal sheet on the soffit of the external projection of the slabs, getting an interesting contrast combined with the whole house. This same concept has been followed on the interior design combining white, grey and wood colours and high end finishes. Weekly/monthly visits on site to follow the process and ensure that the design is being followed. Working together with the construction team when needed to find solutions to setbacks that might appear during the construction process Weekly/monthly visits on site to follow the process and ensure that the design is being followed.
