The Normande is a robust, dual-purpose cow coming from West of France that excels both in the production of rich milk and in tender, flavourful meat with renowned marbling. The Normande is descended from three local breeds from Normandy, brought together in the 18th century: Cotentine, Augeronne and Cauchoise. It’s the 3rd dairy breed in France mainly present in West of France.
