Playas arenosas y lagunas. Similar al Gaviotin Pico Amarillo pero con pico rojo -mas corto y grueso- y posee cresta.
Sandy beaches and lagoons. It is similar to the Sandwich Tern but with shorter and wider red beak and it has a crest.
