We are also beginning the process to create a large committee of stakeholders which will include workgroups of educators, nurses, support staff, parents and students to determine which of the suggested models will work best for our district. Opportunities for stakeholder input through surveys and meetings will be provided. Much of the summer will be taken up doing this work which will include a plan submitted by resolution to the Board of Directors for adoption with final approval from OSPI. Superintendent Thompson wants to make certain that we do not make rush decisions and plans that could potentially change multiple times. We will communicate as early and often as possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to seeing our students this September!
