RESTAURANTS & BARS Martinhal Sagres Beach Family Resort offers some of the freshest, tastiest and most interesting food and wine in Portugal. Based on a philosophy of using genuine and authentic Portuguese produce of the highest quality and following time-honoured methods of preparation, the resort is one of the best places in the Algarve to appreciate delicious international and national cuisine. Unpretentious but beautifully prepared Portuguese cuisine is served for dinner at O Terraço, Hotel Martinhal’s restaurant. O Terraço is also the venue where a full buffet breakfast is served. The freshest fish and seafood can be savoured at As Dunas, a stylish beachfront eatery with the resort’s lively Beach Club next door. And Os Gambozinos, located on the Village Square, is the ideal venue for young and old, offering a tempting Italian a la carte dinner menu featuring hot and cold antipasti, fresh salads, delicious pasta dishes and a wide range of pizzas. 10
All restaurants are family friendly, featuring a special children’s menu and a dedicated children’s play area. An extensive range of cold and hot takeaway dishes are available at Mercado Deli & Bake and Os Gambozinos throughout the day. Martinhal also features poolside bar areas offering a selection of drinks, ice-creams and snacks and our new addition M Bar – our Family Surf bar where you can start the day with an energetic breakfast; grab a light lunch; enjoy afternoon tea, chill out and dance in the evening. RAPOSINHOS CRÈCHE, KIDS CLUB & FOX CLUB The whole culture surrounding Martinhal Sagres Beach Family Resort is family friendly and children are especially welcome. We offer a wide variety of services and creative activity programmes, adapted to the needs of the different age groups. In total we have five Kids Clubs for children from 6 months to 17 years old. “Raposinhos” means “little fox” and children here are encouraged to be the same – active and inquisitive.

BABY CONCIĂˆRGE Hassle free travelling with babies and small children is our speciality. In addition to Raposinhos Kids Club & CrĂŠche and our baby-sitting facilities, we also offer you the opportunity to pre-book baby equipment - from small items like door protectors, thermometers, potties, bottle sterilisers & warmers, to bigger items like safety gates, baby cots, baby baths and even pushchairs. BLUE ROOM The Blue Room, named after the tube created by a breaking wave that surfers try and ride in, is a self-contained space located in the Village Square. Stylishly designed with a futuristic look, this is where older children can absorb themselves in the latest video games, or team up and indulge in more traditional pastimes such as table football. There’s also a great selection of board games to choose from. The Blue Room at Martinhal Sagres Beach Family Resort is free to enter and is an unsupervised leisure facility for all children – it is especially suitable for ages eight and above. 15
TWEENS & TEENS There is plenty to keep your older children entertained at Martinhal! There is plenty to keep your older children entertained at Martinhal! During the holiday season your 10 to 14 year old will enjoy themselves at the Explorers Club, and your 15 to 17 year old will have a great time at the Blast Club. These clubs are the ideal meeting point for your tweens and teens and are running a special activity programme with active outdoor activities like windsurf, surf, dolphin watching, diving experiences, biking and other fun activities like for example mocktail contest and t-shirts painting. All accompanied by our fully trained and experienced leisure team. All Clubs are very popular and places are limited, so it is advisable to book your activities in advance to avoid disappointment. MARTINHAL SPORTS ACADEMIES TENNIS, FOOTBALL & SWIMMING Martinhal offers 3 sports academies, where the sports are organised by age group – meaning that the children can interact in an environment that not only suits their abilities but also promotes their learning and participation. At the Martinhal Sports Academies children can polish their technique or learn new skills in activities such as tennis, football and swimming. Our academies are run by fully trained and experienced staff and offer more than just lessons, with regular tournaments organised for football and tennis throughout the week. The Martinhal Academies are available during the main school holiday periods. As Academies are very popular and places are limited, it is advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
