The 2019 mARTies Awards debuted at a new venue, the Lyric Theatre on November 14th. The audience was filled with arts patrons, corporate sponsors, parents and artists (both student and professional) all sharing a common love for the arts in our community and for arts education. Kudos to our volunteer committee for making things beautiful and supporting every aspect of the event. Event co-chairs, Lisa Renee Ludlum and Marney McKee were joined by their committee Barbara Bucci, Kimberly Everman, Katie Gianni, Sharon Hagin, Ken Hooper-Capozzi, Liz McKinley, Terri Pettengill, and Kristal Wion-Eckhardt. A beautiful pre-event VIP reception was held at Café Martier in downtown Stuart which engaged our sponsors, committee, named award recipients and VIP ticket holders. It was a lovely kick off to a stunning evening filled with amazing performances by our student performing artist nominees who collaborated on their performances bringing together a variety of unique partnerships which enhance the entertainment for the attendees. A special thank you to Heidi Condon for producing the show.
