Martina Bianchini

I am a graduated architect from the "Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio", Switzerland. I currently work for the ORG office as a freelancer and urban designer. I am based between Milano and Brussels. My first work experience was at Elemental, with Alejandro Aravena, in Santiago, Chile, dedicated to projects devoted to the public, and in Spain at Guillermo Vazquez Consuegra's office focusing also on competitions. During my academic career, I developed a strong interest in 'urban planning, landscaping, and reuse which I deepened through the workshop "RRR Roma, Riuso e Restauro" held in Rome in 2021 and by developing projects in collaboration with Arch. Dorte Mandrup and Arch. Philipp Esch. I developed a particular interest in the 'encounter between architecture and the world of gender theory, which I explored for the first time at KTH in Stockholm and then in my graduation thesis called " WOMEN IN THE URBAN SPACE, Gender, Public Space and Methodologies for the Future."
