On October 8, 2021, in commemoration of the 16th Annual Commonwealth Cultural Day, the Judiciary celebrated the islands' heritage and traditions in a series of exhibits and hands-on activities such as mwaar making and talaya throwing. Performances by local dancers were also showcased. In addition to dancing, a wide variety of cuisine from different cultures were available for the public to sample. Other exhibits include Nature's Treasures' weaved baskets and hats, the Commonwealth Council for Arts & Culture's bead station, and an informative corner of the NMI's history courtesy of the NMI Museum, This event was open to the public and welcomed special guest Chief Judge Ramona V. Manglona from the U.S. District Court for the Northern Mariana Islands, as well as several members of the CNMI Bar Association.
