Language Access Plan and Policy (LAPP) is designed to provide timely, meaning, and equal access to Judiciary programs, services, and information to Limited English Proficient and Deaf and Hard of Hearing Individuals. In line with LAPP and Title VI of Civil Rights of 1964, the Judiciary holds annual training for court interpreters and staff. LAPP training involved a change of plea sim ulation with Public Defender Douglas Hartig and Assistant Attorney General Heather Barcinas and Court Interpreter Dennis Tse.
