The City of Martensville, partnering with the Martensville Community Recreation Project (MCRP), is set to deliver a phased facility to meet the ever-growing demand for more ice and indoor field time. Where will it be? The new facility will be located on the west side of Martensville and anchor the newest subdivision slated for Martensville. Trilogoy Ranch will be a 680 acre residential and commercial development slated to be builit out over the next 25 years, be home to an additional 10,000 residents.
Community-Driven: $2.8M Raised + $3M Land Value
• In addition to the City’s $6.5M commitment, the MCRP and a group of community volunteers have raised $2.8M to date for this facility! A HUGE thank you to the people who have worked
tirelessly towards the new facility - your dedication, your passion and your efforts have driven this project. You make the community stronger and will make this dream a reality.
• Land for the facility is also being provided in the Trilogy Ranch subdivision and valued at over $3 million. • We are hopeful the Provincial and Federal Governments will help us ‘Lace ‘Em Up’. • Stay tuned over the next number of months for some exciting updates!
A new multi-purpose facility will provide positive impacts in respect to sport, leisure and economic spinoffs in the community and region. Together we can create the capacity to not only retain sporting events and create and expand programs, but also the potential to bring a variety of major sporting events into region. This will be a positive development for the local business community that will see increased visitors coming to the community to participate in sport.

Why does Martensville need a new rink?
“It would be awesome. There would be so much more ice time!! We could host our own tournaments again! And we wouldn’t have to travel out of town as much for practices. Maybe other teams would come to our rink too…they could also host tournaments and practice at our nice new rink.” - Blake Carlson, Baseball & Hockey Athlete
“More time to play the game I love with my friends.” - Ryland McConnell, Hockey Athlete

“To me, a new rink would mean being able to play ringette in my home town instead of driving to further rinks. And if we had more ice here, then maybe more people would want to play ringette. I’d love to see my favorite sport grow in my community.” - Piper Landry, Ringette Athlete
