MCRP - Martensville Community Recreation Project

Since our inception in 2015, the Martensville Community Recreation Project has worked to provide a new rink and multi-sport recreational facility in Martensville. In 2024, thanks to you, our supporters and the community spirit, this new community recreation centre will open! Your support of our multiple events have raised awareness and funds, which go directly towards this goal. You have raised over 92% towards our $4M Lace ‘Em Up community fundraising goal!!! Plus – contributions from the city, the Province of SK and the Government of Canada total $44.54M meaning this facility will be incredible! Floor plans are available at City Hall and at the MAP. 50% of the pilings are in and one of the next steps are the grade beams for the rink. More exciting announcements are to come.

Help us Lace Up the fundraising goal - please consider donating today at mcrp.ca/donate. Only $17 a month for 5 years gets your name on the new centre donor recognition wall. Thank you for all your support – let’s Lace Up this fundraising campaign.

574 “Dakota” Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron

574 Dakota Squadron meets every Thursday (Sept – Jun) at the North Ridge Centre in Martensville from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.

Servicing the Martensville, Warman, Dalmeny, and Osler areas, we are a youth program for those between the ages of 12 and 19 years of age.

Air Cadets participate in a variety of activities such as survival weekends, sports weekends, range, gliding/power flying and much more. The Cadet program helps to develop today’s youth by instilling communication & leadership skills, discipline, and service to others, which are the basis of a great citizen.

The aim of the Air Cadets movement is to:

• develop good citizenship and leadership

• promote physical fitness

• stimulate an interest in flying

Feel free to stop by on any parade night to see what we are all about. There is no cost to join the program and you can register at any time. Check us out on Facebook under 574 “Dakota” Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron or visit our website www.574dakota.ca
