This year's girls track team -Cheron Reed left their opponents in the dust. Seniors Tyra Campbell . . - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - -- - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - ' and Cleonee Winfrey led the ROW 1 -Alison imz, Lindsay Waddell, Latoya Brown, Tearinee Upshaw, Cheron Reed, Shelia Johnson. ROW 2 team through a successful sea- Malinda Johnson, Kimberly Lomax, Samantha Brim, Brandi Williams, Tyra Campbell, Angelique Winbush, Elizabeth Gretchen Block. ROW 3 -Coach Thompson, Amber Roberts, Jolynn Caroline, Katherine Townsend, April Carter, son. Although a shortage of Trail, Heather albone, Kristy Maulden, Coach Woods. long distance runners slowed them on the road to success, the team's impressive sprinters still pulled the team through to a strong 12th place finish at the Thornton Indoor Invitational. Runners from Central also placed at the State Finals in the 800 meter medley relay, the 800 meter relay, the 200 meter run, and the discus throw. This team should definitively be proud of its accomplishments.
